With just three shopping weekends to go, Mail Boxes Etc. is already reporting high levels of packages being sent to Europe, the USA and further afield and is urging shoppers everywhere to remember that three shopping weekends means just three shipping weekends too.

Breakthrough new postal service from Mail Boxes Etc

A breakthrough new postal service is today being launched by Mail Boxes Etc., the UK's network of high street stores offering express and worldwide delivery.

Mail Boxes Etc. Express Post is for urgent letters, documents and small packets up to one kilo in weight and costs just £6.49. It offers all customers - business or private - a guaranteed next day delivery with signature. The service is being trialled in 20 stores but early reports suggest that it will be rolled out to all 100 Mail Boxes Etc. stores within weeks.

In the wake of the recent lost baggage problems, Mail Boxes Etc., the UK's network of high street stores offering express and worldwide delivery, has today stepped forward to offer an alternative to avoid being caught up on the Carousel of Despair when bags fail to show in the arrivals hall.

POSTAL WORKERS STRIKE - MAIL BOXES ETC. STATEMENT

 

Mail Boxes Etc., the Post Office's only recognised national competitor*, today revealed surprising outcomes from June's first postal strike. Simon Cowie, chairman of Mail Boxes Etc. said: "Most advice issued before the June strike was 'post early or wait a few days'. We found that people do not want to wait, or cannot afford to. Overall, there was a 75% increase in the number of documents and parcels we handled.
