Royal Mail Operational Services
The UK and International mails network operated a near normal service over the bank holiday weekend. There were no airmail services operating last night or this morning, so the closure of airspace in the British Isles this morning has so far not affected any services to Northern Ireland or Scotland.
Irish airports are set to reopen at 1pm after a six-hour closure due to more ash from the Icelandic volcano that grounded flights for nearly a week last month.
