Due to the closedown of airports in Ireland caused by volcanic ash from Iceland, inbound and outbound shipments from and to Ireland may experience service delays.

We are taking steps to manage through this event to provide our customers with the best possible service under these circumstances.

We are positioning our air operations to be able to resume our full flight schedule as soon as all airports have re-opened. In the meantime, pick-up and delivery operations continue to run as normal. The airports are expected to be re-opened today at 13:00pm GMT.

FedEx Express is monitoring this situation on a continual basis and is in regular contact with the affected airports regarding their planned openings.
