A pair of German World War II CXN binoculars mounted on a metal column, the binoculars incised 'DF 10x80 - cxn - KE - 22823 - 8587'.
A late 19c French Garniture de Cheminee comprising a clock and two urns. The body of the clock is of gilt spelter and has paw feet and is surmounted by an urn the body of which is of pink porcelain. The 3.5diam dial is also of pink porcelain with white enamel numeral plaques with Roman numerals and a riverside scene in the dial centre. Below the dial is another pink porcelain plaque with depiction of a windmill in a landscape. The sides of the clock have gilt swags to which are attached oval miniatures of ladies. The two train movement is rack striking on a bell. The flanking urns have rectangular gilt bases and bodies of pink porcelain depicting cherubs. They are decorated with gilt swags with female head boses and gilt pineapple finials. The clock stands 16.5tall, the urns 14tall.
A late 19c French black slate mantel clock in drum head case with tapering trunk and stepped base. The front of the trunk has a tapering glazed panel through which can be seen the compensated Ellicot pendulum. The 5.5diam two piece white enamel dial has an exposed brocot escapement and the movement is countwheel striking on a bell. The dial has Roman numerals and moon hands and the trunk has a slate rear door for pendulum access. 17tall overall.
A late 19c French Garniture de Cheminee comprising a clock and two four branch candelabra all in ormolu. The rococo clock case is of waisted shape and has four dolphin head feet. The sides of the case and panel below the dial form pierced sound frets backed by red fabric and the corners of the case are covered in foliage. The clock is surmounted by a cherub blowing a conch shell and sitting infront of another dolphin. The 5 white enamel dial has Roman numerals, Arabic five minute numerals and is signed Leconte Paris as is the movement which is rack striking on a bell. The rococo candelabra have wrythen foliage stems and a seated cherub between the arms. The top sconce forms a removable candle snuffer. The clock stands 17tall, the candelabra 21.5tall.
A late 19c German three train bracket clock, the barrelled spring movement chiming on four gongs and hour striking on a fifth. The 6.5arched brass dial has a silver chapter ring with Roman numerals and two subsidiary dials in the arch for pendulum regulation and strike/silent. it is contained in an arched walnut case with gilt side frets and caryatid figures to the case front corners. The top corners have pineapple finials and the case is surmounted by a gilt urn. The clock stands 16.5tall.
A mid 19c English double fusee bracket clock with 8diam flat painted iron dial in a walnut Gothic style case with pointed arch above the dial edged in tulip carving and with a tulip central finial. The case is flanked by plain fluted rectangular columns with pointed roofs. The case sides have wooden sound frets and lion head handles. The double fusee movement unusually has a lever escapement with a plain flat balance mounted vertically on the back plate and a seconds hand on the dial. The movement has rack striking on a bell with a pull repeat. The clock stands 23.5tall.
