The UK has left the EU and new rules will come into effect when the single market and customs union transition period concludes, at the end of the year.
This will affect around 200,000 UK businesses currently trading with Europe, regardless of the final trading arrangements agreed between the UK, EU and countries trading the European Economic Area (EEA). If you plan to continue to import and export goods from 1st January 2021, now is the time to prepare.
