An early 20th century painted wood advertising figure, in the form of a golfer smoking a pipe, wearing a tweed suit and a flat cap, on an octagonal base inscribed He played a BROMFORD, 52 cm high See illustration Report The pipe is a later replacement. Report by GH A few corner and edge chips, with some localised re-painting, notably around the bottom of the base and in a couple of other places. Some paint cracking as well in places, notably at the back of the man's neck. One area of impact cracking at the back of the man's cap with some re-painting there.
