Coronavirus (COVID-19): Service update from Mail Boxes Etc.

Given the problems we are all facing and the measures we have had to put in place, you will understand that we are having to change our usual operations.

We are continuing to try to look after our customers, albeit with revised hours, reflecting the limitations of staff availability, particularly where travel may be difficult.

We hope that this has not caused you too much inconvenience.

We are attempting to minimise issues and are following the procedures detailed below:

Mailbox Rental

We are continuing to receive post and parcels for mailbox rental customers and mail can be collected during our opening hours.

We can forward mail and packages, using a post or courier service, for customers who cannot make it to the store in person. There will be no extra charge for customers who normally collect letters.

Customers with a 24-hour access fob key can collect mail from their mailbox at any time, where 24-hour access is available.

Post & Parcel

Royal Mail and couriers (FedEx, UPS, DHL, Parcelforce Worldwide etc.) are continuing to operate delivery services, which you can access through our stores.

Service guarantees have been suspended to a number of destinations.

We can offer a local collection service for large items, or packages may be dropped off directly at our stores.

Auction Logistics

If you have purchased at a recent Auction House sale, or you plan to bid at a forthcoming ‘online only’ sale, we can take instructions to collect, and provide a cost for collecting, packing and shipping any lots won, to your nominated address.

We will liaise with the auctioneer and advise you of the earliest collection date available.

Print & Copy

If you need to get documents or other materials printed, we can provide a remote copying service. This may be useful if you have run out of ink in your home printer.

We can help print and bind dissertations for final year students in your household. You can email us your file or artwork, along with your instructions - we can print it and deliver it back to you via post or courier.

Store cleanliness and social distancing:

When you visit us, please always keep two metres apart from each other and two metres distance from staff members at the counter, wherever possible.

Please help us maintain hygiene standards, avoid touching objects and surfaces and use card payment/contactless where possible.

Our opening hours may change at short notice. Please check this site to always see the most up to date hours. It would help us a great deal if you could email prior to visiting us in-store. 

Please be assured that we are doing our best to look after your needs, whilst protecting you, our staff and families.

We are trying our best to ensure your service runs as smoothly as possible during this period of disruption, and we hope you understand that the situation is fast-changing and we may have to react to short term changes in staff availability or regulations.
