MBE Worldwide acquires World Options
Worldwide S.p.A. (“MBE”) is pleased to announce the
acquisition of a majority ownership share of World Options, a UK-based provider of
shipping, delivery and logistics services with more than 120 franchisees and agents across
the UK, USA, Australia, the Netherlands and Belgium.
MBE Worldwide is a leading commerce-enablement platform providing e-commerce, fulfillment,
shipping, marketing and print solutions to SMBs and consumers. In 2021, MBE served over 1 mln
business customers worldwide generating €1.01 bln (US$1.2 bln) of system wide sales, through
its 2,900+ service centers in 53 countries, and €24 bln (US$28.5 bln) of gross merchandise
value traded through its PrestaShop e-commerce solutions.
World Options is a tech-enabled shipping service provider, serving over 10,000 SMBs with all
their shipping needs, from small parcels to large freight, both domestically and internationally.
The company operates through a successful network of franchisees and agents throughout the
UK, US, Australia, the Netherlands and Belgium.
The acquisition represents another relevant step in MBE’s growth, adding a committed network
of sales-oriented entrepreneurs and strengthening the company’s position as a global
commerce platform for businesses.
